Eligible entrants:

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

How to enter:

To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

(a)     purchase at least one (1) participating Castello product (i.e. either Castello Creamy White 150g, Castello Creamy White 200g, Castello White 300g, Castello White with Truffle 150g, Castello White with Green Peppercorn 150g or Castello White random weight) (“Participating Products”) in a single transaction (“Qualifying Transaction”) from any store within Australia which stocks the Participating Products (“Participating Venues”);

(b)     then visit, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details  and upload a copy of their purchase receipt for the Qualifying Transaction as prompted; and

(c)     submit the fully completed entry form.

Number of entries permitted

Multiple entries permitted per person. However, only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction/purchase receipt (regardless of the number of Participating Products in excess of one (1) purchased within that transaction); and each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements.


Limit of one (1) prize permitted per person (excludes SA residents).

Major Prize: The prize is a trip for two (2) adults to Hayman Island and includes:

  • 2 adult return economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city to Hamilton Island (including airport and airlines taxes);
  • Twin-share accommodation at One&Only Hayman for 4 nights;
  • Return luxury helicopter transfers from Hamilton Island airport to Hayman Island;
  • Return transfers from helicopter drop off point to accommodation;
  • Full breakfast in Azure Restaurant daily;
  • Use of all non-motorised watercraft including catamarans, windsurfers and paddle skis. Use of squash court, tennis court and golf putting green. Use of Activities Centre gymnasium facilities.
  • 4 hr private yacht to explore the best of the Great Barrier Reef and pristine waters of Whitehaven beach; and

Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.

Additional spending money, additional meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken by 30 April 2017 and is subject to booking and flight availability.


Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods.


The winner and his/her travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.


Prize travel itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.


Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize.


Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.


The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.


Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.


Minor Prizes: Each individual prize consists of a Castello Cheese Stainless steel knife set with PP handles.

Notification of prize winners:

Each winner will be notified in writing within two business (2) days of the draw via the email address provided by the winner. The Major Prize winner will be notified publicly (and their details published) at on 22.04.2016.

Unclaimed prizes

Prize must be claimed by 21.07.2016 at 4:00 PM AEST. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn on 22.07.2016 at 3:00 PM AEST at Plexus, Level 2, 35 Little Bourke St, Melbourne, VIC 3000. The winner/s of the redraw will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the redraw via the email address provided by the winner. The winner Major Prize, if awarded via the redraw, will be notified publicly (and their details published) at on 25.07.2016.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule) and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Entries must be received during the Promotional Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, of Participating Venues, of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion or of the Promoter’s retailers, distributors, suppliers and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, partner, parent, guardian, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
  4. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted up to 13.04.2016 by 11:59 PM AEST.
  5. Drawings:
    1. 20.04.2016 at 3:00 PM AEST - computerised draw system or selection:The winners will be determined by draw. The draw for the prizes will take place on 20.04.2016 at 3:00 PM AEST at Plexus, Level 2, 35 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000 by computerised draw system or selection. The Promoter warrants that the computerised draw system used to draw the prize has been appraised by a suitably qualified person into the operation and integrity of the computerised draw system. The winning entrant does not need to be present at the draw to claim a prize. The major prize will be drawn first and if there are other prizes, the other minor prizes will be drawn in descending order of number and value.
    2. If any particular draw is scheduled on a public holiday, the draw will be conducted at the same time and location on the following business day. The Promoter will ensure each draw is open for public scrutiny and anyone may witness the draw on request. The winner of a drawn prize are determined by chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
  6. A copy of the purchase receipt must be retained for each entry submitted by an entrant as proof of purchase. Entrants must provide the copy of receipt/s to the Promoter for all entries submitted if requested. In the event that the entrant is unable to produce the copy of receipt/s, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion, deem their entry and/or entries invalid and/or forfeit the entrant's right to any prize.
  7. All eligible entries have a fair and equal chance to win the prizes.
  8. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact each winner or winner of a redraw.
  9. If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.
  10. If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
  11. The value of the prizes is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the prizes (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes after that date.
  12. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed by purchase or subscription , the cost of the product or service is no greater than the cost would be without the opportunity to participate in the Promotion.
  13. Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid.
  14. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
  15. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner’s surname, initial and State.
  16. If a prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier and the provision of the prize is the sole responsibility of the third party and not the Promoter. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Conditions of Entry, to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Entry or otherwise.
  17. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  18. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrant’s details (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter’s discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  22. The entrant will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
  23. The major prize is a single event for the winner (and their guest) and cannot be separated into separate events or components.
  24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the entrant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the prize or acceptance of the prize.
  25. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
