Castello® Traditional Blue, pickled pears and walnuts

1 Castello® Traditional Blue

2-4 pears (peeled)

200g honey

400ml of water

10 cardamom

1 lemon (sliced)

100g walnuts 

Castello® Traditional Blue, pickled pears and walnuts

Preparation

Bring 150g of the honey, cardamom, lemon slices and water to the boil. Add the peeled pears.
Let them simmer in syrup for about 10 minutes and then turn off the heat. Keep the lid on the pot until the pears are tender.

Decorate the plate with a piece of Blue, the pickled pears, walnuts and a little extra honey.
