Castello Danablu is a semi-solid mould ripened cheese with a sharp, piquant and slightly salty taste and the crumbly texture makes it both spreadable and sliceable. The surface appears white/slightly yellowish with blue-green mould smoothly spread inside the cheese.
PairingsCastello Blue is served on cheeseboards or on bread, and it also serves as a delicious ingredient in sauces, dressings, salads and many other treats. Serve it with roasted almonds, walnuts and honey. Furthermore Danablu is suitable for grilling.
