Burger Blue with Red Cabbage

Ingredients for 4-6 servings

2/3 pound red cabbage

3 tablespoons sugar

1/2 liter apple cider vinegar


1 pound ground beef

Salt and pepper

2 tablespoons smoked paprika

2 tomatoes

1 green pepper

1 red onion

4-6 buns

6 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon chili sauce

2 red pickled grilled peppers

1 cucumber

4-6 slices Castello Burger Blue

Burger Blue with Red Cabbage


The day before:

Finely slice the red cabbage and put in a bowl with sugar and vinegar, let sit overnight.


On the day:

Season the meat with salt, pepper and paprika and form into patties. 

Mix chili sauce with mayonnaise and spread on the buns. Grill the burgers and add the blue cheese slices while still warm. 

Strain the vinegar from the red cabbage mixture. Assemble the burgers with all vegetables.
