1 tablespoon milk (preferably full fat)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup Castello® Creamy Havarti cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon fresh minced herbs like dill, chives, tarragon or flat leaf parsley
Eggs for Enemies/The Cheese Omelet
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and black pepper
In a small skillet, add butter and allow to melt and sizzle. Add the egg mixture and move the pan around to spread it out evenly. When the omelet begins to firm up, but is still lightly raw on top, sprinkle with Creamy Havarti cheese. Using a spatula, ease the edges of the omelet and fold over in half. When it begins to turn golden brown underneath, remove the pan from the heat and slide the omelet onto a plate; sprinkle with herbs and serve.
Serve with a green salad of your choice.
