Castello Aged Havarti with Sautéed Mushrooms

  • 2 tsp (10 mL) olive oil
  • 150 g fresh, mixed mushrooms, whole, halved and sliced
  • ¼ tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) basil pesto
  • 50 g Castello Aged Havarti, cut into small pieces
  • Ciabatta bread 
Castello Aged Havarti with Sautéed Mushrooms

Preparation

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Sauté the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and combine pesto with the mushrooms. Season to taste. 

Serve the warm mushrooms together with cheese and toasted bread.
