Cheddar and orange marmalade

with sherry and almonds

  • 1 matured cheddar

 

  • 3 organic oranges
  • 10 cups of sherry
  • 0,8 cups of water
  • 200g sugar
  • 100g almonds
  • 1 cinnamon rod
Cheddar and orange marmalade with sherry and almonds.

Preparation

Cut the oranges in thin slices and add them in a pot together with cinnamon, sherry and water. Boil for about half an hour and add sugar and almonds. Let it simmer for another half hour, put it on glasses (over held with hot water) and close immediately. Serve the cooled marmalade with cheddar and crackers.
