Buffalo Hot Wings

with Castello® Mellow Black Dip

  • 500-600g chicken wings
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 100ml barbeque sauce
  • Hot sauce of your choice
  • 2 spring onions

 Dip

  • 100g Castello® Mellow Black
  • 3 tbsp crème fraiche
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Salt and pepper
Buffalo Hot Wings with Castello® Mellow Black Dip

Preparation

1. Crumble the Castello® Mellow Black into a bowl and add mayonnaise and crème fraiche. Stir well and then add the honey, salt and pepper to taste.

2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan (or deep fryer) to 175°C. Cook the wings for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

3. Place the warm wings in a bowl and stir through the barbeque sauce and desired amount of hot sauce, for that extra kick! Make sure the wings are well covered in the barbeque sauce mixture. Top with slices of fresh spring onion. 

4. Serve with the Castello® Mellow Black dip and extra barbeque sauce!
