Recipe makes 8 delicious pancakes

  • 200g Castello® Creamy Havarti, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 175g flour
  • 100ml milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • Butter for frying
Pancakes with Castello® Creamy Havarti


1. Whisk together the eggs, milk and salt and pepper.

2. Add the flour and whisk until there are no more lumps.

3. Add the grated Castello® Creamy Havarti and chives.

4. Place a frypan over medium heat and add a spoonful of butter, melt to coat the bottom of the frypan.

5. Fry the pancakes in batches, cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

6. Top the Cheese Pancakes with desired fillings! We recommend prosciutto, tomatoes, watercress and even a crumbing of delicious Castello® Traditional Danish Blue.
