Sandwich with crisp apple salad

  • ½ large apple, cut into thin slices (approx. 300 g)
  • ¼ tbsp ginger marmalade
  • ¼ tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 slices whole grain or rye bread (approx. 250 g)
  • 1 fig bar (approx. 25 g
  • 50 g Castello Creamy Blue or Mellow Black, sliced
Sandwich with crisp apple salad


Toss the apples with ginger marmalade, lemon juice and sesame seeds. Cut the fig bar lengthwise into three strips. Make a sandwich with the sliced fig bar and cheese. Spread some butter on the outside of the bread slices before toasting the sandwich. To serve, arrange the apple salad on a plate with the toasted sandwich.
