Tropical Fruit & Almond Cream Cheese Toast

The humble ‘cheese on toast’ taken to another level. Our recipe for Tropical Fruit & Almond Cream Cheese Toast is a breakfast of grand proportions and a snack that keeps surprising. Glossed in sprinkles of chilli sauce, flavours are vibrant and diverse, offering a distinct palate that does not shy away.

Cheesy Roasted/Toasted


  • 125 g Castello® Tropical Fruit & Almond Cream Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce, sweet or spicy (choose your favourite)
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 2 cups fresh pineapples, diced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • fresh bread, to serve


1. Prepare the spicy salsa by combining the pineapple cubes, macadamia nuts, chilli sauce and spring onions in a large bowl.

2. Toast four large slices of fresh bread (one per person). Spread generously with the Castello® Tropical Fruit and Almond Cream Cheese. Serve with a large spoonful of the spicy salsa and garnish with a wedge of lime.
