Chorizo and Blue Cheese Tarts

Ingredients for 12 servings

300g shortcrust pastry
75g chorizo sausage – diced
Half a pack of Castello Noble Blue Cheese or Traditional Blue Cheese
1 large egg
125ml single cream or milk.

Preheat oven to 200ºC/180ºC for fan assisted ovens/400ºF/ Gas M6

Roll out pastry and use to line a 12 hole bun/ jam tart tin.

 Crumble or cut the cheese into dice and divide between the pastry cases with the chorizo.

Beat together the egg, cream or milk and seasoning and gently pour into the cases. Bake for 18-20 minutes until set and golden brown.
