- 4 slices of toast – no crust
- 4 eggs
- 50 g bacon (cubes)
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped chives
- 50 g Castello Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar
Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar cups with eggs, bacon and chives
Coat 4 small casserole dishes and add a slice of toast in each. Crack the egg and carefully place upon the toast. Top with bacon, chives, freshly ground pepper and Castello Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar.
Bake at 255’C (435’F) for 15 minutes – or until the cheddar is golden and the egg is done. Depending on the size of the egg the cooking time will vary.
