ROASTED GARLIC SPREAD CHEESE PLATE

with Castello® Double Crème White Cheese
Ingredients for 2-4 servings

1 pkg 150 g Castello® Double Crème White Cheese
2 large heads garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
garnish with hazelnuts and toasted baguette slices

ROASTED GARLIC SPREAD CHEESE PLATE

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC).

Peel most of the paper off of the garlic and trim 1/4” off the top of each head. Drizzle with olive oil; sprinkle with sea salt.

Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until done (to determine doneness pierce centre of clove with a knife – clove will be soft).


Allow the garlic to cool slightly. Serve on a cheeseboard or cheese plate and have guests take a clove and squeeze it onto their baguette slice. Alternatively squeeze skins off of cloves into a small bowl for serving. Pair with Double Crème White Cheese
and hazelnuts.
