Creamy White Grilled Stacked Apple Salad

Brown Sugar Dressing
1/2 cup (125 mL canola oil
1/3 cup 75 mL apple cider vinegar
1 green onion, thinly sliced
3 tbsp 45 mL brown sugar
1 tbsp 15 mL Dijon mustard
pinch salt

1/2 cup 125 mL pecan halves, toasted
4 medium Gala apples, cored and cut into 1/4” rings
2 tbsp 30 mL melted butter
4 cups fresh baby arugula
1 pkg 125 g Castello® Creamy White or Castello® Brie, thinly sliced
salt and freshly ground black pepper
to taste

Creamy White Grilled Stacked Apple Salad



Place all the ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk until
combined. Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Heat indoor grill or bbq over high heat. Brush apple rings with melted butter
and grill each side until crisp-tender, approximately 2 - 3 minutes on each side.
Arrange arugula on a serving platter or individual salad plates; stack apples
with Brie slices ending with an apple slice on top.
Drizzle with brown sugar dressing and top with toasted pecans.
