Romaine Lettuce Canapés

  • 2 heads romaine lettuce
  • ¼ head cabbage
  • ¼ head red cabbage
  • a bit of fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pack sliced bacon
  • 2 packs Castello® Cream Cheese with Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
Romaine Lettuce Canapés

Preparation

Mix the cheese and the sour cream.

Chop the parsley and add it to the mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Fry the bacon and slice it into small strips.

Slice the cabbage into strips.

Divide the romaine lettuce into leaves.

Now you can build up your canapés:

  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced cabbage
  • Cheese mixture
  • Bacon
  • Sprinkle with a little bit of parsley if desired
