Waffles with spicy cream cheese dip

  • 100 g almond flour
  • 50 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder a pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs, size M/L
  • 1,5 dl milk
  • Butter for frying

Cream cheese dip


  • 75 g baby spinach or kale leaves
  • 4 radishes, chopped in small pieces
  • 1 handful of fresh pea shots
Waffles with spicy cream cheese dip


Preheat your iron while you make the waffle batter. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, and mix together the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.

Grease the waffle iron with butter, pour batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until they golden brown – the recipe makes 4 waffles.
Mix together cream cheese, skyr, chopped chives and the dried spices – taste and season with salt og pepper.

Mix together the baby spinach, radishes and pea shoots and serve waffles with cream cheese dip and salad.
