AGED HAVARTI CRÈME FRAÎCHE PLATE

with Castello® Aged Havarti Cheese
Ingredients for 2 servings

200 g Castello® Aged Havarti Cheese, broken into pieces
1/2 cup | 125 mL crème fraîche or sour cream
1 tbsp horseradish
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 slices smoked salmon
2 tbsp capers
6 spears Belgian endive
1 dessert crepe, cut into 1 “ strips or mini pancakes (optional)

AGED HAVARTI CRÈME FRAÎCHE PLATE

Preparation

In a small bowl stir together crème fraîche, horseradish, lemon juice, salt and white pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.

On two salad plates arrange the Aged Havarti Cheese, a dollop of crème fraîche, smoked salmon, capers and Belgian endive. A dessert crêpe or mini pancakes rounds out the flavours in this plate (optional).
