Castello® Blue Cheese Burger with Red Cabbage

Ingredients for 4-6 servings

3 cups (300 g) Shredded Red Cabbage

3 tbsp (45 mL) Sugar

Approximately 2 cups (500 mL) cider vinegar

2 Cups (450 g) Minced Beef

Salt and pepper

2 tbsp (30 mL) smoked paprika

2 tomatoes, sliced

1 green pepper, sliced

1 red onion, sliced

4-6 Buns

┬╝ cup (6 tbsp) Mayonnaise

1 tbsp (15 mL) chili sauce

2 red pickled grilled peppers

1 cucumber, sliced

4-6 Slices of Castello® Burger Blue

Castello® Blue Cheese Burger with Red Cabbage


The Day Before:

Slice red cabbage finely and put in a bowl, Dissolve sugar and vinegar together, add to cabbage and let it stand overnight

On the Day:

Season the meat with salt, pepper and paprika and form them into patties. Cut all the vegetables, so they are ready for the burgers. Mix Chili Sauce with the mayo and spread on the buns. Grill the steaks until desired doneness and add the blue cheese slices. Drain the vinegar from the red cabbage. Assemble your burger to your liking.
