Mature Cheddar Bread Cups with Eggs & Bacon

Ingredients

4 slices white bread without crust
4 eggs
50 g bacon (cubes)
1 tbsp finely chopped chives
1 pinch pepper

Preparation

Coat 4 small cocottes and add a slice of toast in each.

Crack the egg and carefully place on upon the toast. Top with bacon, chives, freshly ground pepper and Castello® Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar.

Bake at 225 degrees for 15 minutes – or until the cheddar is golden and the egg is done.
