Pickled Cabbage

  • 300 g red cabbages
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • approximately ½ l apple cider vinegar
  • 500 g beef mince
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 4 - 6 burger buns
  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 2 red pickled peppers
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 - 6 slices Castello® Burger blue


1. A day before your meal, slice the red cabbage finely and put in a bowl with sugar and vinegar. Let it sit overnight.

2. Season the meat with salt, pepper and paprika and form them into patties.

3. Cut all the vegetables, so they are ready for burgers.

4. Mix Chili sauce with the mayo and spread on the buns

5. Fry the steaks and add the blue cheese slices

6. Take a spoonful of the red cabbage, draining the pickling liquid.

7. Assemble your burger
