An elegant companion for bubbles - our recipe for Heart Salad Boats with Mature Cheddar & Mango Chutney is a lovely thing to nibble on over a glass of Prosecco. Crisp heart salad, cool and crunchy cucumber and a sweet, nutty mature cheddar - topped with cilantro and sweet and spicy mango chutney to make it come to life.
ingredients
- small 8 Leaves of baby romaine lettuce
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese, matured, ca. 120 g.
- 1/2 cucumbers
- 2 tbsp mango chutney
- fresh chopped ground coriander
preparation
Preparation1. Place the heart salad leaves on a platter or plate.
2. Peel the cucumber and split it in halves lengthwise.
3. Remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the cucumber into slices and add them on top of the heart salad leaves.
4. Add slices of matured cheddar on top and finish with mango chutney and fresh coriander.

Serving Suggestion
Serve with Prosecco.
