ingredients

Pizza crusts

  • 25 g butter
  • 2½ dl milk
  • 25 g yeast
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 400 g plain flour

Tomato sauce

  • 1 can concentrated tomato purée
  • 2 tsp finely grated brown onions
  • 2 small, pressed garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp coarse salt
  • ½ dl colza oil

preparation

Pizza crusts

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the milk. Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the yeast.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients (reserve a little of the flour). Knead the dough well. Cover the bowl, for example with the lid of a pot and leave in a warm place to rise for about an hour.

3. Tip the dough out onto a floured surface and knead thoroughly. Add the rest of the flour as needed.

4. Divide the dough into 24 pieces and roll them out into round pizza bases (about 7 cm in diameter). Place the pizza bases on baking sheets lined with parchment.

Tomato sauce

5. Combine all the ingredients for the tomato sauce.

6. Cut the ham into cubes.

7. Spread tomato sauce, ham and cheese on the bases and bake in the middle of the oven for approx. 10 min. at 225°C (fan oven).
