Balsamic mushrooms

ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8¾ ounces mushrooms, whole and rinsed
  • 1¼ cups balsamic vinegar
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

preparation

1. Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil in a very hot skillet.

2. Add the balsamic vinegar, rosemary, salt and pepper.

3. Reduce the balsamic vinegar until it is nearly gone and the mushrooms are tender.

4. Can be served both cold and warm.
