Grubaholics Jerk Chicken Havarti Cheese Steak

Ingredients

2 pounds fully trimmed chicken breasts
wet jerk seasonings
jerk sauces
⅓ cups whole milk
10" fresh italian bread rolls

Jerk Seasoning Ingredients

1 medium onion
4 spring onions
1½ tbsp fresh ginger
3 tbsp fresh thyme
8 garlic cloves
1 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp allspice
1 tbsp white pepper
½ tbsp dark brown sugar
¼ cups olive oil
1 tbsp soy
1-2 scotch bonnet pepper (adjust to your spice preference)

Jerk Sauce Ingredients

½ cups vegetable stock
½ cups tomato ketchup
2 tbsp barbeque sauce
½ cups pineapple juice
1 tbsp wet jerk seasonings
1 cup brown sugar

Clean chicken breasts with water and vinegar or lemon juice.

In a food processor or blender, combine all wet jerk seasoning ingredients and blend until smooth and pasty.

Season chicken breasts in wet jerk seasoning and let marinate for at least one hour.

In a medium saucepan, make your jerk sauce by boiling vegetable broth, ketchup, barbecue sauce, and pineapple juice. Add wet jerk seasoning and brown sugar, stirring constantly. Set aside.

Meanwhile, shred CASTELLO® Creamy Havarti Cheese. Add shredded cheese and milk in a medium saucepan and melt over medium heat, stirring occasionally until fully melted.

Cook chicken breasts in a greased 12 inch skillet over medium high heat for 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

Chop the chicken into pieces until fully chopped.

Place the chopped chicken on a sliced 10” inch fresh Italian roll. Add melted CASTELLO® Creamy Havarti Cheese.
