
Havarti Buffalo Chicken Dip Grilled Cheese
ingredients
- 8 oz Castello® Havarti
- 8 slices of crusty bread
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 12 frozen crispy chickens tenders
- ½ cups barbeque sauce
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- salt and pepper, to taste
preparation
Combine mayonnaise and softened butter in a small bowl and set aside.
Cook bacon until crispy, and blot with paper towels after cooking. Set aside.
Cook chicken tenders according to package instructions. In a large bowl, toss the tenders with the buffalo sauce until fully coated, then set aside.
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, generously spread mayonnaise/butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread. This will be the outside of the sandwich.
Layer each sandwich with 1 oz of the Castello Creamy Havarti Cheese, followed by two slices of bacon, three buffalo chicken tenders, 1 more oz of Castello Creamy Havarti Cheese, and then the top slice of bread.
Grill the sandwiches on the preheated skillet for about 4-6 minutes per side, until the cheese is melty and the bread is beautifully golden and toasted.
Serve immediately, sprinkled with salt and pepper as desired.
