Roasted Chickpeas with Blue Cheese & Cocoa

Honey, cinnamon and cocoa will take your flavors in a sweet direction, while blue cheese, olive oil, sea salt and the chickpeas will keep the snack savory.
Ingredients
2 cans of chickpeas (17 oz.)
½ tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp acacia honey
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp cocoa powder
sea salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Drain the chickpeas and rinse thoroughly under cold water, then dry them in a kitchen towel.
Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for about 45 minutes or until crisp.
Combine the warm chickpeas with oil, honey, cinnamon and cocoa – grill them for 10 more minutes in the oven.
Let the chickpeas cool, then toss with the crumbled Castello® Traditional Danish Blue.
