A slim rind yields easily to your knife, revealing a thick and velvety centre. Let this cheese melt in your mouth and you’ll get hints of natural yoghurt and dark chocolate.     • Creatively crafted in Denmark from fresh cow's milk and cream
    • Cheese curds are made according to traditional methods in large open vats
    • The cultures are added by hand
    • Each cheese batch is also cut by hand when the cheesemaker decides it has reached the right state of firmness to inspect if the cheese is ready for packaging
    • Each cheese is inspected for quality before going into a pack

    • First made in Denmark in 1944, this Double Cream Brie Cheese is the first cheese crafted by our founding family of Tholstrup. So it's kind of special!
    • Due to its non-standard recipe and a much creamier texture than regular brie, some Scandinavian countries like to consider our Double Cream Brie Cheese as its own cheese type under the soft cheeses family. In Denmark our brie is called Castello Creamy White.
