Artichoke Toast with Double Cream Truffle

Aromatic and mild, our recipe for Artichoke Toast with creamy cheese with truffle comforts with its depth in flavour and creamy textures. Marinated artichoke beside a rich coating of truffled cheese and sliced ham acts as the centre of this satisfying sandwich. Spruced with butter and basil, it is the ultimate snack or meal.

Sweet Cream Roasted/Toasted


  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • Castello® Double Cream Truffle
  • basil
  • marinated artichokes hearts
  • butter
  • green salad - e.g. heart salad


1. Cut 4 slices of sourdough bread and put butter and ham on two of the slices.

2. Chop the artichoke hearts and place them and the basil leaves on top of the ham.

3. Spread the two other bread slices with a thick layer of Castello® Double Cream Truffle.

4. Place the bread slices with the cheese on top of the other two bread slices with the ham.

5. Grill the sandwiches in a frying pan or in the oven until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
