
Chicken nuggets with masala cream dip
An exotic take on a treasured classic – our recipe for Chicken nuggets with masala cream dip offers golden-hued treats with a side of spiced sour cream. Coated with browned butter before being dunked in egg wash and crispy breadcrumbs, filleted chicken chicken fillets get a golden hue from a quick turn in a frying pan.
Ingredients
Masala cream dip- 150 ml sour cream 30%
- ½ tsp coarse salt
- ½ tbsp garam masala
- 250 g butter
- 500 g chicken fillet in small pieces (approx. 2 x 2 cm)
- 75 g plain flour
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 large eggs
- 85 g breadcrumbs, e.g. Panko
Preparation
Masala cream dip1. Combine sour cream, salt and garam masala and give it a good whisking.
2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 min. Season to taste.
Chicken nuggets3. For the chicken nuggets; combine the flour and salt on a plate.
4.. Then beat the eggs in a wide bowl and place the breadcrumbs on a third plate.
5. Melt half the butter in a sauté pan over a high heat, but without browning, then reduce to a medium heat.
6. First, coat the chicken pieces in flour, then dip them in egg and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
7. Fry the chicken for approx. 2 min. on each side and serve with the masala cream dip.
