Blue cheese burger with homemade thousand island

ingredients

  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp cucumbers
  • ¼ red cabbage
  • 800 g minced beef
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Castello® Blue Cheese Slices
  • 1 pack of buns
  • 1 handful water cress

preparation

Mix mayonnaise, ketchup and diced cucumber for the Thousand Island dressing. Cut the red cabbage and fry the minced meat as burgers on a pan or grill. Remember to sprinkle with salt and put a Castello Blue Cheese Slice on top.

Spread some dressing on each burger bun before you place the meat, cabbage and watercress. Serve with chips if you like.
