Hot Aged Havarti Crab Dip
Ingredients
4 portions
8 oz block cream cheese, room temp
⅓ cups mayonnaise
⅓ cups sour cream
¾ cups cooked crab meat
chopped chives for garnish
served with assorted crackers or sliced baguette
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350. Grate two blocks of Castello Havarti cheese and add to a large mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and crab meat to the bowl and mix well.
Pour contents into a baking dish, using a spatula to even out the mixture. Bake for 30 minutes, or until dip is creamy and slightly browned on top. After pulling dip from the oven, sprinkle with chopped chives and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers or a sliced baguette
