Hot Aged Havarti Crab Dip


  • 8 oz block cream cheese, room temp
  • 2 packs Castello® Aged havarti, shredded
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup cooked crab meat
  • chopped chives for garnish
  • served with assorted crackers or sliced baguette


1. Preheat oven to 350. Grate two blocks of Castello Havarti cheese and add to a large mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and crab meat to the bowl and mix well.

2. Pour contents into a baking dish, using a spatula to even out the mixture. Bake for 30 minutes, or until dip is creamy and slightly browned on top. After pulling dip from the oven, sprinkle with chopped chives and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes. Serve with assorted crackers or a sliced baguette
