Bresaola wrapped grissini with Cheddar and basil sauce

Our recipe for Bresaola wrapped grissini with cheddar and basil sauce strikes the perfect balance between simple preparation and flavourful ingredients. Draped in dried prosciutto, crispy breadsticks join a sauce of aromatic anchovies, fresh basil, garlic and sherry vinegar beneath shavings of cheddar.

Ingredients

10 grissini or bread sticks
20 slices bresaola
fresh fresh basil
1 dl olive oil
2 anchovies
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp sherry vinegar

Preparation

Wrap two slices of bresaola around each grissini, and place the wrapped grissini in a plate or bowl.

Blend basil, olive oil, anchovies, garlic and sherry vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce in the plate next to the wrapped grissini.

Grate Castello® Extra Matured Cheddar on the wrapped grissini and serve.
