Just one more! Our cheddar cheese sliders makes giving in to cravings for savoury delights a whole lot easier. Resting between a set of glazed burger buns, lean beef patties are held company by fresh lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. A garnish of sharp cheddar, sweet mustard and mayonnaise add depth and a lingering finish.

  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 hamburgers (each 65-70 g ground beef)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 slices of Castello® Extra mature cheddar
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp french mustard
  • lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 pickles, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • tomato ketchup



1. Shape the beef patties and season with salt and pepper.

2. Fry in a hot pan with a bit of oil for 3 minutes on each side.

3. Place slices of Castello® Extra Matured Cheddar on each patty, after they have been flipped the first time.

4. Heat the slider buns.

5. Mix mayonnaise and mustard and spread on the bottom half of the slider buns.

6. Add lettuce, tomato and pickle slices, beef patty with cheddar and onion slices.

7. Finish with ketchup and the top half of the slider bun.
