Grilled prosciutto wrapped figs stuffed with Blue Cheese

  • 8 figs
  • 60 g Castello® Crumbled Danish Blue Cheese
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 60 ml olive oil, for brushing
  • 16 toasted hazelnuts, chopped


1. Cut a slit into the sides of the figs. Fill the slit with blue cheese and sprinkle in a pinch of rosemary.

2. Cut the prosciutto slices in half and wrap one-half slice around each fig. Brush with olive oil and grill over a low heat until warmed through, about 4 minutes.

3. Remove from the heat and arrange on a serving plate, sprinkle with hazelnuts and serve while warm.
