BREAD CUPS WITH CHEDDAR, EGGS & BACON

ingredients

  • 50 g Castello® Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices white bread without crust
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g bacon (cubes)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped chives
  • 1 pinch pepper

preparation

1. Coat 4 small cocottes and add a slice of toast in each.

2. Crack the egg and carefully place on upon the toast. Top with bacon, chives, freshly ground pepper and Castello Extra Mature Cheddar.

3. Bake at 225 degrees for 15 minutes – or until the cheddar is golden and the egg is done.

Depending on the size of the egg the cooking time will vary.
