MINI SANDWICHES WITH SALMON AND AGED HAVARTI

A mix between a crostini and an open sandwich – this salmon and Aged Havarti delight is perfect for Sunday brunch as well as any day of the week. Thinly sliced salmon sits on a base of grilled bread with a side of fresh parsley and pieces of Aged Havarti Cheese.

ingredients

  • 200 g Castello® Aged Havarti Cheese
  • 6 slices bread
  • 20 g butter
  • 150 g smoked salmon
  • parsley

preparation

1. Cover the bread slices with a thin layer of butter and toast it.

2. Cut salmon into wide slices and place it on the bread.

3. Cut Castello Aged Havarti Cheese into slices and place them on top of the smoked salmon.

4. Add some leaves of fresh parsley on each mini sandwich and serve.
