Anything worthwhile takes time – our recipe for Slow-roasted tomatoes is the perfect addition to cheeseboards, salads or tapas. Seamed with fresh herbs and not much else, flavours are allowed to develop on their own, resulting in a subtle profile that is guaranteed to cater to a wide range of dishes.
Ingredients
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 tsp sugar
- salt
- ground pepper
Preparation
Preparation1. Halve the cherry tomatoes and toss gently with thyme and olive oil.
2. Place the tomatoes on a baking tray cut side up.
3. Sprinkle with the sugar, salt and pepper.
4. Bake the tomatoes at 100° for about 2 hours.
