Smoothie bowl with blackberries

In bowls or cups – our Smoothie bowl with blackberries recipe satisfies in whatever vessel it appears. Served with a topping of fresh fruit and coconut shavings, mild yoghurt infused with berries and rolled oats offers a smooth consistency softly dissolves on your palate. A subtle drizzle of honey adds depth and a sweet finish.

ingredients

For the smoothie bowl:

  • 300 g frozen blackberries
  • 1 banana
  • 2½ dl skyr 0.2%
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats

Topping

  • 1 kiwi – peeled
  • 1 passion fruit – seeds and juice
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp runny honey

Garnish

  • fresh mint leaves

preparation

1. For the smoothie bowl: Set aside 10-12 beautiful blackberries and half of the banana for the topping.

2. Place the rest of the blackberries, banana, Skyr and rolled oats in a blender and whizz for approx. 2 min. into a thick smoothie.

3. Pour the smoothie into 2 bowls.

4. For the topping: Peel the banana and kiwi and cut into thin slices.

5. Top the two smoothie bowls with fruit, flakes and seeds.

6. Drizzle with honey and garnish with mint leaves.

7. Serve immediately.
