SAVOURY WAFFLES WITH BLACK PEPPER CREAM CHEESE
Ingredients
For the waffles
100 g almond flour
50 g whole wheat flour
150 ml milk
2 eggs (M/L)
1 tsp baking powder
butter for frying
a pinch of salt
For the topping
4 radishes, finely sliced
75 g baby spinach
fresh fresh parsley
Preparation
Preheat your waffle iron while you make the batter.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Then mix in the flower preparation and stir well to form a nice batter.
Grease the waffle iron with butter, pour in the batter and cook until the waffle is golden brown. This recipe makes 4 waffles.
Layer each waffle with baby spinach, slices of Castello Black Pepper Cream Cheese, sliced radish and some fresh parsley.
Serve while warm and enjoy your delicious brunch!
