Inspired by the mildness of traditional brie and the creamy, rich flavours of blue cheeses, Castello® Creamy White was the first new cheese recipe developed by our founding family, the Tholstrups, and its legacy survives today.     Crafted in Denmark from fresh cow's milk and cream, Castello® Creamy White begins its journey in large open vats, where traditional methods are used to form the cheese curds. Cultures are then added by hand to allow the cheesemaker to guide the process with precision and care, until finally, when it reaches the right level of firmness, the cheese is carefully cut by hand.

    From start to finish, this soft mould-ripened cheese brings out the very best of our passion for cheesemaking and carefully selected ingredients. Once cut, each cheese is inspected before packing, ensuring high quality in every bite of this beautiful cheese variety inspired by a desire to unite the mild, delicate nature of brie with a richer, creamier cheese style.
