  • 2 - 3 apples (preferably sour cooking apples)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp coarse grain mustard
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 sprigs of thyme

preparation

Preparation

Core the apples and cut into small pieces.

Place the apples in a saucepan along with 50ml of water and boil for about 10 minutes until the apples are slightly mushy. Add the thyme leaves, cloves and honey. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then add the coarse mustard. Bring to a quick boil.

Pour into a jar and let cool.
