Cheddar pancakes

Salty Cheesy


  • 175 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g grated Castello® Tickler Mature Cheddar
  • 1 pack of Castello® Traditional Danish Blue
  • 100 ml milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped chives
  • butter for frying


Whip eggs and milk with salt and pepper. Mix in the flour and whip until there are no more lumps. Add the grated cheddar and chives.

Fry in a hot pan for about 2 minutes on each side.

Top the cheese pancakes with Parma ham, lettuce, tomatoes, Castello Traditional Danish Blue and watercress.
