Cheese Dip

Just enough to pass around – our recipe for Cheese dip from delicious cheese leftovers makes final use of remaining cheese, giving it new life as a condiment to cheeseboards and tapas alike. Using rich blue cheese with hard cheese results in a smooth texture that softly drapes its surroundings in intricate flavour. Start saving!

Cheesy Salty

ingredients

  • 50 g Castello® Castello® Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar
  • 50 g Castello® Castello® Traditional Danish Blue
  • 100 g soft cheese, such as salad cheese in block or cream cheese
  • whipping cream 38%
  • 1 tsp snaps

preparation

Allow the cheeses to come to room temperature. Cut the Castello Tickler Extra Mature Cheddar into small pieces. Add all ingredients in a food processor and run for about 15 sec. until they are roughly mixed. Pour the cheese dip in a scalded cold glass with lid and store in the refrigerator.

Serve the cheese dip with crackers, toasted rye bread, dates and fresh fruit. Can also be used as a spread in sandwich.

The dip can be made with many different kinds of cheeses.
