
Homemade Granola
Start off your day with a lovely crunch - our recipe for granola will make you look forward to tomorrow’s breakfast while eating today’s. Baking the cereal will enhance its natural flavours while the added butter and brown sugar will give your granola a lovely taste, an intriguing look and an enticing texture.
Ingredients
- 150 g rolled oats (not quick-cooking)
- 150 g wholemeal rye flour
- 150 g buckwheat grains
- 80 g brown sugar
- ¼ tsp fine salt
- 50 g butter, melted
- 60 ml water
Preparation
PreparationCombine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Pour the butter and water over the mixture, stirring constantly to ensure everything is evenly coated. It is okay if the mixture is a little lumpy. Spread the granola in a roasting tin lined with baking parchment. Dry the granola in the middle of the oven for approx. 1 hour and 15 min. at 150°C., stirring occasionally. Take care that the edges don’t turn too brown. Let the granola cool before adding the raisins. Serve the granola with yoghurt or your favourite breakfast dairy product.

Tips & Tricks
The granola can be stored in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator for approx. 1 week.
